This policy explains how I collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit my website, use my author tools, access the Instant AI Book Cover Design Studio, or order my custom design services.

1. Information I Collect

Depending on how you interact with Cover by Nabin, I may collect the following information:

• Account & Authentication Data: Name, email address, profile avatar, and account credentials when you register or sign in to the AI Book Cover Studio via Clerk.
• Project & Design Inputs: Book titles, subtitles, author names, genre selections, design briefs, manuscript summaries, and uploaded reference images or asset files.
• Transaction & Credit Data: Purchase records, credit balance history, and billing receipts for AI credit purchases processed via Lemon Squeezy, or custom design quotes via PayPal or Stripe. We do not store or process raw credit card details on our servers.

2. How I Use Your Information

• To provide custom book cover design, interior formatting, and instant AI cover concept generation services.
• To process payments, manage AI credit balances, and deliver order receipts.
• To authenticate your user session and maintain account security.
• To communicate with you regarding your project updates, revisions, and support inquiries.
• To send final high-resolution design files via secure cloud transfer services.

3. Data Security & Confidentiality

Your manuscript, book assets, and project files are treated as strictly confidential. I do not sell, rent, or share your unpublished manuscripts or private data with unauthorized third parties. All files and server endpoints are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections using industry-standard cloud security practices.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

My website uses essential browser local storage and minor cookies to maintain user authentication sessions (via Clerk), manage active state in tools (such as thumbnail previews and generators), and ensure safe site navigation. You can adjust your browser settings to clear or block cookies at any time. No passwords or raw email addresses are ever stored in your browser. The optional local cache of your recently generated covers is keyed by a non-identifying account identifier rather than your email.

5. Third-Party Services

I rely on trusted third-party service providers to power the website infrastructure, payment handling, authentication, AI generation, and secure file delivery:

• Lemon Squeezy: Merchant of Record and payment gateway used for processing AI credit purchases, subscriptions, and checkout transactions securely.
• PayPal & Stripe: Secure third-party payment gateways for processing custom design and formatting project payments.
• Clerk (Clerk.com): Secure authentication infrastructure for user account management, sign-in, JWT token verification, and session security.
• Ideogram API & Pollinations.ai / AI Providers: Artificial intelligence image generation engine APIs used to render cover artwork concepts from user design briefs and prompts.
• Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1 Database, R2 Storage, KV): Global web hosting, CDN security, edge computing, serverless API execution, database management, and cloud media storage.
• Cloudinary: Media asset management and Content Delivery Network (CDN) for serving optimized portfolio artwork, thumbnail previews, and web assets.
• Google Cloud (Google Drive, Workspace & Apps Script): Secure manuscript and asset file storage, requirement form processing, and customer project file delivery.
• Brevo (formerly Sendinblue): Transactional email platform for sending order confirmations, account notifications, and customer communications.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery used to send premade cover order confirmations and the related order notifications to buyers.
• Google Fonts & FontAwesome (cdnjs): Front-end typography and icons delivered via global content delivery networks.

6. Data Retention, Deletion & Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. An AI Book Cover Studio account stores only what is needed to operate the service: your email (derived from your verified sign-in), a credit balance, and the covers you generate. Generated covers and their stored image files are automatically purged 24 hours after creation.

• By request: To delete data tied to a custom design or formatting order (processed via Google Workspace / Apps Script), or to exercise any other privacy right, email contact@coverbynabin.com. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
• What we keep: For accounting integrity, anonymised purchase records (with your email removed) are retained so payments cannot be silently re-credited. No identifiable personal data is kept after deletion.
